LazyFinance ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application (the "App") handles your information.

2. Data Collection and Usage

We process your personal data differently depending on your subscription tier:

Free Users (On-Device Processing):

For users on the free tier, all AI processing is performed locally on your device using Apple's MLX framework and on-device models. Your voice data and financial entries do not leave your device for analysis.

Pro Users (Cloud Processing):

To provide advanced accuracy, Pro users' voice transcriptions are processed using third-party LLM providers (OpenRouter).

• Data transmitted: Text transcriptions of your expenses.
• Purpose: To categorize and extract structured data (price, item, date).
• No Training: We strictly enforce a "No Training" policy with our AI providers. Your data is never used to train public or private models.
• Retention: Data is retained by providers only transiently for abuse monitoring (typically ~30 days) and then deleted.

3. Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. Their privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
• OpenRouter: Used for Pro tier AI processing.
• Apple: Payment transactions are handled by Apple via the App Store. We do not have access to your credit card information.

4. Data Security

Your financial entries are stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud (if enabled).
